Really? I just don't see how that is possible. Water still gets "old" even
with plants taking out the nitrates, ammonia & nitrites.

I still recommend frequent partial water changes. Around here it keeps
buffering up, not to mention removes bacteria & parasites, puts good
minerals in, and takes heavy metals out, that accumulate as water
evaporates. ~ jan
