Default Name of Flower

In article ,
says...
Hi All. A friend in Germany (western-central) has asked me if I can
possibly find out what the following flowers are he has growing at the side
of his drive - they appear every Spring apparently. The pic he has emailed
me isn't the best as it's not a close up, but still maybe somebody can shed
some light on what it is. Many thanks.

Tracey

Not sure but I think its a campanula (the species begins with p and has
an unreasonable amount of letters in it!)
