I have several clumps of wild sorrel which is throwing up flower
shoots, they seem to be growing several inches a day.
I am wondering if they are edible whilst they are still in the "Spur"?
Has anyone tried them?

I have never tried to eat them but my old horse used to love sorrel, he
would eat right down to the roots. It is said to be poisonous to horses but
it never did him any harm
