Bees in your Garden?
Orchard bees (also called mason bees) are like tiny bumble bees. They
are not honey bees at all. They don't have a hive, they live in
individual holes in dead wood, etc. No risk at all of "africanization".

Whoops--I always thought those were a type of bumble bee. I was thinking that
by "orchard bees" you meant honeybees kept near orchards. Live and learn.
