It was only our oldest daughter - she's no longer a kid. Almost 50 :-)

Of course she is still your kid :-) I lost both my parents some years
ago, and I still miss them to this day. I envy your kid for still
having her parents, but I feel sorry for her for not having the sense
to realise her fortune.
