It is really wild here today. Wind is gusting so strongly it has
overturned a
heavy hardwood three seater bench, overturned several pots and smashed
one
of them, broken a 4" dia bough from the Tulip tree and completely
flattened
some Lupins I was particularly proud of having grown them from seed.

Shows the largest bow to have come down so far.

Yup -this can be a sad result of winds at this time of the year.
The bow would have probably survived a wind of the same force in say
January.

Pete

Nice photos, and dogs! Windy here but we've missed the worst for a change so
no damage yet touch wood

Windy here but sunny, too. Nothing like those damaging winds Mike has
experienced - that's very bad luck.
