be seen in this image, is the quality of the out-of-focus highlights.

droplets.

One of the things you pay for in an expensive lens is perfectly smooth
and round OOF highlights, while inexpensive lenses will often have
lopsided or obviously geometric-shaped highlights. Here the highlights
are not perfectly round, but they are "not bad" either.
