i'd say go with some mottled leafed paphs; even if they don't bloom,
they're cool looking. also, a ludisia discolor would probably do fine
behind one of the phal pots; has very nice foliage, but the flowers
are nothing to write home about.

you could try another oncid, just pull the curtain away from one side
and let it sit there.

Thanks for the suggestions. Can't wait to get out my orchid book and
see what they look like.
