How is the sun in that area that you planted your boxwoods?
I think they need sunny to very light shade areas to grow.
We only planted one to see if it would survive because of
the sun issue -- it's still alive but it's not looking too
good sort of spindly (more so than when we planted it.

Many of the trees that had yellow edges when we moved in
are green this year and all we did was thin out the
undergrowth a bit. I don't know if it was letting in more
sun or getting rid of plants that might have had problems
that were spreading 'cause we cut out the ones that looked
really bad.
