One unusual one to try is Azara dentata or Azara serrata, evergreen multi
stem shrubs the get to around 15/18 feet and stop with a spread of around

m at the top. Profuse yellow petal-less flowers with garden filling scent

about 2 weeks time (in sw19).

Mine has been in 6/7 years and is now those dimensions.
