Lee, get some rest. This discussion can wait, if it need

to get John's attention because he manifestly displays classic
symptoms of autism. You on the other hand can banter, which must
be freakin' rare for someone with autism orAspergersyndrome.
Just being categorized would put me off the deep end (Oh, he's one
of them!!?). It is just an intellectual construct that has meaning, only
if we accept it. But hey, shrinks gotta eat too ;o)

Bonne nuit and schlaft gut. 'Nuff said.

This is a misconception that it is rare for someone with Autism or
Asperger's to 'banter'.

I have Asperger's and I am quite happy to banter. You see, Billy, if
that is your name, when you are intelligent, you can do ANYTHING!!

I can share with you that people on the Autistic spectrum can also (as
well as banter): drive a car, fly a plane, programme, move forward
science, modern understanding of math, genetics, physics, medicine,
antropology and pretty much anythiung requiring high intellect and
higher than usual levels of concentration (yes, you have to be on the
Autistic spectrum to have higher levels of concentration. Neurotypical
people 'get bored' and wander off to 'chat' and socialise, play games,
gossip, plot their rise to the next step on social ladder - whatever
makes them happy!)

We also meet others like ourselves, fall in love, marry, have kids,
buy our own homes, work hard (not in that order - in any order it
happens to be, actually, we're not rigid), pursue our 'special
interests' (seem like obsessions to NTs) and also while we're at it -
actively work at saving the planet, its' animals, including human
animals and generally better the world by being driven to do the right
thing and stand up for justice and fairness, because it's logical and
correct (and we don't like anything that is illiogical and incorrect -
it cause our internal 'program' go come crashing down).

So, Billy, you see, we do banter and can do it. But why? when there's
so much serious stuff we can discuss, stuff that can make a
difference? Chit-chat about shit makes no difference to anyone and
wastes time. But we're CAPABLE of taking part in this irrational past
time, we just most of the time choose NOT TO!

LOL :-)))))

Uh - huh.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/banter
banter

transitive verb
1: to speak to or address in a witty and teasing manner

I got the teasing part. Where does the witty part come in?
Your self description reads more like a parts list, not banter.
Banter is the human part of the conversation. You know, like
mathematicians saying, "mathematics for no reason at all, just for
its' own sake". So, it is with banter as well. So why the need to
study autism and asperger syndrome, when obviously you are the new
ubermench?

I'm glad that things are going well for you, and that you are able
to pass for "bright";O)
are the new ubermench?
