Thanks for your enquiry. The holes in your cabbages are caused by the white cabbage moth. These critters can smell cabbage from a mile away. You just need to cut around the damage and slice up the cabbage the way you normally do when making saurkraut.

I like to erect little cages made of bird wire over my cabbages. It allows the sun in but keeps the cabbage moths out.
