Yeah sounds like marry you ana type stuff now. Why grow stuff to kill

Also useful as organic spray for pests.
The really bad part of cigarettes is all the chemical treatments applied.

Having some history within the Mareeba[NQ] area
in a past Life I add.
Smoking of tobacco leaf in itself is not harmful
any more than sitting at the traffic lights with the
A/C running, or bogged down in peak traffic.
Both activities are cumulative to the many other
variables of differing chemicals the Modern world
introduces to the Body, from birth.
The fact that people have to die from something
should not be forgotten, and in wiping out a whole
industry - committing this Country to dependency
on imported agricultural product - our Govts. have
conspired to disguise a cultural and social change
which will cost dearly in prolonging Life.
Of course Revenue is the God and more of
us = more Money. In the short term.
Never mention the word Population in the future.

And for any aspiring cultivators (and bored ATO staffers)
be aware there are suppliers of seed to be found
within the Classifieds of nature garden publications.
Be warned, when you have poor knowledge of
picking and curing tobacco you can do immediate
serious damage to your Health in "experimenting".

My dear old Grandad smoked 'anything from the garden' rather than pay for
tobacco.
Just be careful, once he made himself quite ill smoking lavender leaves!!

Then again, being from Sheffield, UK he was still content in the knowledge
that it wasn't costing him a cent!
Don't do Oleander leaves!

Happy gardening
