Why is the formatting on so many of my posts messed up? I see one

a line. Another line will have only one word. It makes them hard to
read.

This is probably more information than you want, but I don't know a
way to really simplify...

Outlook Express. You're posting with a content type of "text/plain;
format=flowed". This means that, to help much older news readers, OE
inserts a "soft" carriage return every "N" characters (probably 72, it
might be more). Smart readers then remove those when displaying the
message, and just wrap the line as necessary to fit your window. Any
time you actually insert a carriage return, OE puts in a "hard"
return, and no newsread removes those.

Since even OE should be capable of handling the soft returns it
inserted itself, I'd have to guess that you're not letting it handle
the wrapping when you write, and are manually inserting returns - so
just don't :-)

The alternatives would be to look in the OE settings and see if you
can either turn off the "flowed" formatting, or set your line length
lower (72 is standard).

I'm getting tha same problem........only in this NG. I have OE set to 72
characters.
