Hi, group.

My girlfriend and myself have seen an exceptionally beautiful plant
on our vacation in northern Italy (Friuli). We instantly decided that
we want to have this plant in our own garden, but couldn't find any
trace of it in our botanic books... Does anybody of you folks know
this plant and can - by chance - identify it for us?
If you know this plant and it's not too much trouble, maybe you even
know an internet link for proper handling/cultivation or give some
insight/tips?
I'm looking forward to hearing from you for the sake of my sanity
(given that my girlfriend can't seem to find other topics for talking
right now) ;-)
