Unfortunately, some of the very people who wanted and got a moderated group
absolutely could not resist wrestling with the pig(s), which got us where
we are today. The nature of usenet is that there are always enough phules
to feed the trolls. I killfile both parties, and find it results in
lossless compression.

More to the point, my pond is winding down from winter, and a few wild rice
plants actually self-seeded (In a water lily bucket!), so I'm going to
harvest a few seeds to re-plant, and let nature take care of the rest!

I never got around to replacing Walter the sole koi in a crowd of
large-mouth bass, but I reckon the mourning period is past. Maybe next
spring.
