A 2% dilution is typical for petroleum based horticultural oils, so
about 5 tablespoons per gallon of water, or 4 teaspoons per quart.. Add
a small squirt of dishwashing liquid to help the oil emulsify. It is a
good idea to test delicate plants by spraying a few leaves and checking
in a day or two for adverse reactions.
