BUT! Just because governments do these things does not automatically make
that government a socialistic government. It is how much they do these
things that earns them the title of Socialistic or not. There is a line
drawn, past which you would consider the government to be a socialist
government. On the other side, you don't consider them to be so. Where is
that line drawn right now? Where will that line move to if McCain is
president? If Obama is president?

Let's forget the election for a minute. Where does Bush drawthis
line? Did you know the bail out had no contingency plan? The banks
did not have to list out what they were going to do with the billions
of dollars and now they are just sitting on it instead of using it to
help people with the mortgage debacle. Oop, I made a mistake. It's
not 700 billion, it's 850 billion, not to mention the trillions spent
on the war by the capitalist government.

Hey - don't forget the Democrats had a hand in the "bail out" and Obama and
Barney Frank took lots of money from Freddie and Fannie.

So did McCaine, for that matter. Check who lobbied for McCaine and
what was done. Bush effed it up, or Phil Graham's credit default
swaps started it and the dems had no choice but to go along with it.

So why is the bail out so larded out with pork - for groups like ACORN????

C

Inform me of what ACORN did. I know that they registered about 1.2
million voters. Some of the registrations were obvious (Mickey Mouse)
deceptions (my understanding is that these were tagged as questionable
and turned in as the law requires). Some registrations were duplicates
and about a third of them were valid. Other than that, I am unaware of
any improper funding of ACORN but I am a busy boy and something may have
gotten by me.

If you don't like Obama or McCain, I would strongly recommend voting for
a third party candidate. I expect pretty much the same thing from the
Democratic Party as I do from the Republican Party but I think the Dems
will put less sand in the vaseline;O)
