Last night I was Checking the DiscoveryChannel for "Monster Garage". ( one
of my favorite shows! )
It was on later, but, a one hour show was just starting on Kyoto Geisha
school, teachers, students, life styles, kimono designers, hair/wig
designers, Ikebana classes for students,tea houses, etc .
VERY interesting story of modern day Kyoto business in those trades. Was
astounded by costs of kimono, wigs, length of training, etc. Narated by an
American lady author who lived with them.
I would suggest checking when/if it will be aired again. Worth the watch.
