Kathy - the light seems just fine. In fact, it may turn out better for some
of the plants than their original location, since they'll get light in
summer but not the hot sun that tends to burn some of the more delicate
leaves. Of course, as soon as the addition went up it became apparent that
it's going to serve as "additional space" as opposed to "alternate space".
The pool patio is not likely to be orchid free any time soon ;oD
