Hello from Massachusetts. This plant was blooming in the mid summer.
It was a volunteer, but we have no recollection of planting it in the
garden before. The nearby gardens have many herbs. The flowers and
foliage have no notable fragrance or flavor. The plant was growing

It reminds me a lot of Berteroa incana (hoary alyssum), but the leaves
don't look to have the right texture (though it is hard to tell exactly from
your pictures).

Leaf texture is somewhat variable, though, especially when the plant is growing
in an area with a steady supply of moisture. (Compare, for instance, the
