I always wondered about that, so thanks for clearing it up. It looks really
attractive as it is always quite smothered with hips. I've never pruned it
though, so I suppose they will eventually dry up and fall off. Does it
effect future flower production if they stay on? There are four to six large
berries clustered at the tip of each branch. Sorry, to ask such dumb
questions, but I've never seen this question in a rose book? ... Noddy
