We had a shower last night. This morning the meadows at the bottom of
my garden are a giant lake as far as the eye can see despite the fact
that a digger has been clearing the drainage ditches for the past
three months. I suppose all those Scandinavian sea birds and waders
will be arriving any time now! Water fight, anyone?
