Thanks to all for your advice.

I am toying with the idea of actually making them from some bits of wood.
It's just that i've read good stuff about the plastic ones and I like the portability due to the fact that i'm in rented accomodation.

It is an extra expense but i'm a beginner with little resources, so i'm not sure.

I'm going to have to continue to think about it!
