Default Pea pods in April

The message

Thanet Earth is tomatoes cucumbers and peppers. Just the boring
tasteless stuff
normally imported from the Netherlands.

Birds Eye might know or even Tescos or another larger supermarket after
al they presumably have to source all round supplies?

They harvest thousands of acres with gangs of beaters, who drive the
peas towards prepared positions called 'butts'.

The Pea Shooters stand on their butts, and at the signal of a whistle
(must be one with a pea in it), shoot the peas as they streak over.

Note - it is usually arranged that the wind be with the peas, not
against them.

The peaing season is very brief, thus differing from the leeking season,
which play can be elongated well into the spring. (Elongating it that
far is considerd foul play, though.)
