I lived in Fort Rosebery briefly in 1951 or 1952. For a description
of water supplies, see:

go to chapter 13 "Building the Bush House" and go to paragraph
13, starting "In about ten days our house was up".

I experienced a 'Rhodesian Boiler' whilst on the wild coast of South Africa,
they work amazingly well, as long as the "stick boy" stays awake.
Better than the shower at a place we stayed at in Lesotho where you had to
pour paraffin into a burner on the feed pipe and carefully adjust the air
inlet to control the flame.
