I have found a litter of rabbits in the compost heap

In our large compost heap (blockwork walls, many tons of compost) a fox
dug
an earth for itself. Luckily when it hit the back wall it gave up and left
us with a nice tunnel

I have just been out to look at the little rabbit family but they are
nowhere to be seen, maybe some thing has eaten them or maybe the mother
rabbit moved them, last night was very cold and wet they would have been
lucky to survive maybe
