When I think that when we
left NZ in December, people will confidently putting their boats in the
water, I'm green with envy. *The poor old climbers on poles and
trellises here are getting such a bashing but I'm even more worried
about the rooks perched at the top of a tall old cedar tree. *Nothing
seems to be flying today, except in the greenhouses, so I imagine them
sitting up there, clinging on for dear life and wondering who's rocking
*their* boat!

No sign of planes from Schiphol so far.

Well, our wind has now turned into a real gale with lashing rain and
some sun - very weird weather! *The Rosa banksiae lutescens has been
partly torn from its supporting pillar and rope so when there's a bit
of a lull I must go and tie that up. *It's not exactly gardening
weather, I must say.

At Wimbledon has a *roof that will close over #1 court )

Sorry, not interested, don't watch it! *Philistines, I know!

Just make sure you and Ray don't visit when Wimbledon is on; unless
you want to cook that is :-)
