Default Rose growing question

In article ,
says...
Hello
I am thinking of growing roses in grow bag compost in large pots

Is this possible bearing in mind that they will be in this compost for many
years

I live in the Truro area of Cornwall

TIA ................................ Leslie

You can grow roses in pots, but you really need to use a soil based
compost, a large pot and treat reguarly for Vine Weevil (before you see
the problem - its too late after!)
Grow bag compost will become satuarated during the winter and the rose
will go down hill
