I will be putting in a new lawn in around 6 weeks time.

Turf or lawn? Which to go with?

Area is roughly 30m2 and I would be willing to spend around £3 per square
metre on turf -so £90

I can buy the seed for about £20.

I am doing a large project, so instant grass to finish it is tempting and it
actually seems like less work than seeding.

How long would seed take to come through from say mid July?

I have tried seeding before but i got some weeds (admittedly i didn't spend
ages researching how to do it properly)

lawn will get moderate use, no kids on it all the time but maybe now and
again on weekends.
