Default Bonsai (?) In USA Weekend...

G'day All...

In the Sunday paper...heading, "Pop for party favors", a co-host HGTV's Design
on a Dime is given credit for the following...

"...likes to give her guests tokens that celebrate life. "Cultivate bonsai
trees", she suggests. "...buy bonsai kits and customize a tree for each
guest...great conversation piece...put one at each place setting...""

You would probably have to plan your party 3-5 years ahead.

I suspect that the "tokens" amount to something approximating malsai, and that
the mortality rate is something greater than 90%.

Something like giving a small child a pink or blue live baby chick for
Easter???

Another hand full (or) more of black eyes for bonsai each time these "tokens"
are distributed...?

I truly hope that this write up doesn't start a stampede to buy the "bonsai
kits".

Have a good day.
