George Gently set in Northumberland is filmed in Dublin. The books are set in

Really? Good gracious. At least I know that Doc Martin is filmed in
Cornwall. Port Isaac to be exact. The home of my in-laws and a place I
love to visit, whenever possible. They do grow the most delicious
Pasties there.
