Here in Northampton, the Wildlife Trust had a chap who was a wizard with a
chainsaw and chisels, and had three old trunks carved into examples of the
wildlife in the area - a beetle, a frog and a woodpecker. Depends on how big
the pieces the pieces are and what species, but your local Wildlife Trust or
a craft centre (local college) may have some ideas.
