I've sent it on to you, David - don't know if it will work. *I hesitate
between chrysanthemum and Dahlia but I tend more towards Dahlia only
because of the coloration and how it's formed.

Oh dear. I sent it this morning so that's not promising. So - I'll do
my best to describe this and maybe others can correct or add. No
leaves are visible which hinders ID of Chrysanth or Dahlia. If it IS a
Dahlia I'd guess it's what's called a medium sized Decorative. I say
this with supreme ignorance. The body of the flower is white or
possibly pale lavender but has a pink/red flush to the petals at the
base which doesn't appear to follow up to the tips or centre.
Unfortunately, the flowers photographed seem to be dying off which may
affect their colour register in the photo and we have no view of the
centre.
