In last few weeks I recorded a City Gardener programme with Matt
James. He did quite a nice re-design of a front garden somewhere in
Devon. He took the lady of the house to Coleton Fishacre to look at
plants and design.
He called it Colly-ton fishacre. I have always heard it pronounced
Cole-ton.
Which is right please?

Collyton, though most people use Coalton, not surprisingly. Can you
tell me which channel that was on, Pam? I don't think we've ever seen
that particular series and I'd like to try to find that episode because
we'd both greatly enjoy seeing it. Both the previous and the present
Head Gardeners there are customers and quite a lot of our stuff is in
that garden! So much so that we've been invited to organise a 'staff
day out' there. Recently, the lower part of the big lawn, where
there's a little footbridge across the stream, was re-planted with
Colocasias and other exotica from us. There's a Thunbergia gregorii
climbing the house and the gardener said to Ray, I"'ve got one
complaint about that plant. It stopped flowering in February." ;-)

Hi Sacha. Thanks. I've never managed to get there.
Here's a link about the prog I watched.

They did n't show a lot of C.F. just a brief visit, but looked at
plants, the rill, and the stream with a little bridge over. Didn't
notice the planting there.
It was shown at lunchtime on June 19, as you will see.
Hope you manage to get there. It looks lovely.
