Default Trichopilia (syn.Leucohyle) brasiliense

This is a delightful and unusual miniature now blooming out in the GH.
Leucohyle has been included in Trichopilia by some authors in the past
and now more securely after DNA studies by Chase et.al. since 2001, and
further work Norris Williams' team, more recently published.

The flowers are 1.25" (3.2cm) across; the terete leaves max out at 4.5"
(11.5cm) and are only 1/4" (.7cm) wide.

I have not detected a fragrance yet on this one; it is mounted on cork
with sphagnum.

This plant hails from Brasil and is very similar to another former
Leucohyle, Trichopilia subulata, which hails from Central America and
nortthern S.America.
