Problem is that they are one of the easiest veg to grow - and *the glut at
the end is the main part of the *problem !

We are overwhelmed with blackcurrants this year. For some reason the birds
don't
eat them.

I was looking just yesterday on making fruit vinegars, we made jelly
from our currants this year, the yield is much smaller as the berries
are thrown away after pressing a bit. It has much less sugar and is
good with meats.
