The leaves do look somewhat similar, but the flowers
seem to be more dense & complex on Baccharis glutinosa
(aka: Baccharis salicifolia)

I will sift through the other Baccharis's that are native to that
area.
Which other Family or Genus could it be?


Baccharis is dioecious, look for images of the gynoecious form.
