Loop a piece of string round your belt and attach a bulldog
clip to the other end.

Attach bulldog clip to spring wne attemting removal.

Tedious, yes, but saves losing them in the shrubbery



If they are old you will need new ones so don't worry about losing them. Get
them from Garden Centres
