Just bought a Tamarix Parviflora, looks good, but its new to me, and have
since heard that its a pest in the USA, Any thoughts on the care and
placing of it?

Thanks

Tamarisk tolerate salt-laden air and drought. They're not so likely to
be happy with permanently wet soil. They're deep rooted plants, which
might be a contraindication for growing them in a pot.

They also like full sun.
