Hi, Donna, silverleaf seems to attack all 'stonefruits', It generally enters the tree through wounds and mainly in the winter which is why we advise pruning
in summer when the leaves are on. The disease causes the upper leaf layer to separate from the lower layer allowing air in, which is what causes the leaf to take on a 'silvery' appearance.
