Yes. But you will probably get a better crop growing one that is more
nearly suited to our climate rather than a Mediterranean one. If you
have
a bit left over that is already growing them by all means plant it...

We tried that a few years ago and had a complete disaster, the first ever
for us with garlic.
Won't touch the stuff again, once bitten etc.
The best we grew last year was Jermidour and Thermidrome which grew
excellently. Marco, on the other hand, didn't grow well at all despite being
a good doer in the past.
