We want to replace a Frisia Robinia Tree which has died.

looking at the G.TRIACANTHOS "Sunburst" as this has very similar leaves
and colour that the Frisia has.


I can recommend Sunburst. It will grow from container size to tree size in
ten years but remains manageable. The spring colour is great but the autumn
colour is brief. The flowers are insignificant as well. It is thornless in
contrast to the parent species which has vicious spines.
