Posted this morning at Electric Politics, a podcast interview with
Lisa M. Hamilton, author of Deeply Rooted: Unconventional Farmers in
the Age of Agribusiness. Lisa has been listening to unconventional
farmers for a long time and has a knack for telling their stories.
Deeply Rooted is definitely worth reading, particularly if you have a
taste for low-key travelogues. Be advised, however, that this isn't a
conversation about politics or policy so much as it is about what's
happening on the land.
