I had hydranges in the sun, they did not bloom! Put them on the shady side
of the house, they are blooming throughout the summer. You can change the
color to red or blue flowers depending upon the acidic soil. I like them
blue so I keep them more or less in a base soil. Add lime for that and
good compost for the other. Zone 6.
