Mars meteorite contains numerous plant cells

Figure 1 below is labelled for a fossilized plant’s sieve tubes found
in a meteorite originating from Mars. The figure is imaged by Mr. Tom
Phillips, an expert in micrographs of Martain meteorites. Sieve tubes
are usually found in the phloem in the vascular bundle of a plant’s
stem/roots.
