Default Bougainvillea

In article ,
says...
Just moved to Cyprus and the price of indoor and outdoor plants is
astronomical. Bougainvillea is a common and gorgeous plant (a nice size 2ft
plant is 100Euros which is ridiculous) and I read it is a devil to
propagate, especially when you do not own a plant to graft.

Any tips for successful propagation?

They root very easily at any time of year, during the winter they can
also be done by hard wood cuttings. They do however need heat for their
first winter after propagation (in the UK)

As to the price, its more realistic than the cheap prices in the UK, I
noticed in California prices were also a lot higher, but I also noticed
proper knowledgeable people selling plants in a nursery that only sold
plants!
Somewhere in between must be a happy compromise
