Yes, some are far more prone to needle drop

I got a rooted Larch ( I think !) for last year.
It did about three weeks indoors and has been
at the front of the house all the rest of the year
and put on good lateral growth.

The secret is to water sparingly and do not water indoors or the roots
could suffer
when it is returned outside. Make sure that it is well watered just before
bringing in.
