I suspect the same could be said for Congress as well, having sold
theirs to Ol' Nick for campaign financing long ago.

But today isn't the day to contemplate the future or the past, but to
rejoice in the present, even if we ain't got a pot to **** in. There is
always the grateful tree to accept one's offerings.

Bless St. Patrick, who gives us a chance to down a pint or two (don't
forget the Irish toast to the Queen), and may everyone enjoy a slice or
two of brisket, and some cabbage and potatoes.

Wanting that, then a stop at your local Irish publican to become
bellicose, lachrymose, and comatose.
