first and foremost i would like to congratulate you on your gardening career.. I would suggest that you select the right containers such as individualized seed pots and trays so that it has enough space to grow.and you must also provide bottom warmth of the seeds.. you mentioned that you placing them right in the window so that it will be expose to the warmth of the sunshine morning, that's a very good idea.
Anyway, good luck on growing your seedlings..
